In 2019/20 I will be working with the Department of English Literature Director of Teaching and Learning, Dr Paddy Bullard, on a Teaching and Learning Development Fund project on embedding skills literacy within the Academic Tutor System.
In 2018/19 I worked with colleagues in the School of Literature and Languages to explore the university experiences of Black, Asian, and minority ethnic students, on a project titled ‘A Thousand Words: Student Life Through a Lens‘. Project participants took photographs representing their experiences of studying at the University of Reading. Their photographs were displayed in the University Library from June-July 2019, and shared on Instagram here.
In 2017/18 I worked with Part 3 student Hannah Ashraf on a PLanT Project called ‘Students Talk: Learning Journals‘, to demystify learning journals as a method of assessment. View the tab ‘Learning journals’ to read about our activities and watch the resulting film.
